After a successful campaign to retain her position as a County Court Judge in 2018, the governor elevated Judge Dawn Veronica Denaro to the Circuit Court.
Judge Denaro has dedicated her entire 27 year career to public service. Before her appointments, she was an assistant state attorney with the Miami-Dade State Attorney’s Office specializing in homicide, juvenile, and domestic crimes. Over the course of her 18 year career with the State Attorney’s Office, she tried more than 100 circuit court cases. As an experienced judge, she presides with compassion and fairness.
